The primary role of this position is to serve as the Supervising Physician for LIV in the state of Florida, with anticipated future scope expansion to WellNow's traditional Virtual Care services in Florida, and potential future support of an expanded population through TAG employee benefits. 

Salary:  

  • Salary: $12,500 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical supervisory services for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs — NPs and PAs) delivering direct patient care to LIV patients located in Florida, and eventually Virtual Care patients in Florida. 

  • Complete all paperwork necessary to supervise/collaborate with APPs as directed by the Company. 

  • Provide medical supervisory services for APPs, as necessary for the treatment of patients, assessed via chart reviews as directed by the Company, utilizing the Company's established medical protocols. 

  • Be available by telephone or secure electronic means for consultation questions regarding patients located in Florida during the hours APPs are actively treating those patients. 

  • Promote, to the extent permitted by applicable law and professional ethics, the practice of the Company. 

  • Participate in quality improvement, quality assessment, chart review, utilization control, peer review, and credentialing activities as required or requested by the Company, including review of Employee's own professional conduct or competence. 

  • Cooperate with and support any indigent or charity care policies adopted by the Company. 

  • Remain comfortable practicing in a telemedicine care delivery model, including virtual patient interaction and remote oversight of APPs. 

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Board certification in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine.
  • Licensed in the State of Flordia.
  • Able to work well in team environment.
  • Strong “Crucial Conversation” skills.
