Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tools Administrator to manage and maintain our software quality and security tools, specifically Coverity and Black Duck. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation, integration, and support of these tools, helping our development teams to identify and address software vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with security standard 

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the tools are running efficiently and effectively, with minimal downtime.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. 
• Provide technical support to development teams. 
• Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to ensure users can effectively utilize the tools. 
• Work closely with the Architecture team to design and implement continuous service enhancements. 
• Create a knowledge repository of runbooks, support guides etc. to aid pro-active support to users.   
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to integrate and optimize tool usage. 
• Participate in meetings and discussions to continuously improve tool implementation and usage. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: (4-8 years)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent 

• 3 years experience in software development. 

• 2 years experience in supporting least 2 of Coverity, Plastic SCM, GIT/GERRIT, Jira, Confluence 

• Handle  and perform related tasks within the ServiceNow platform to ensure smooth operations and timely support for GSS tools. 

• Experience in the development of automated configuration management processes and procedures (preferably in the automotive industry) 

• Experience in automation/scripting in BASH, Python and similar. 

• Energetic team player with strong communication and people skills. 

• Curious and eager to learn. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
