About the position:

We are looking for a Sustainability consultant to join our Sustainability Team for Portugal.

JLL continues to make a significant investment in enhancing its sustainability position with clients and in the industry.

As part of the Sustainability Services Team, your role is to support revenue growth across the business, identify opportunities to embed sustainability advice into our core real estate advice and support our sustainability marketing positioning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sustainability Technical Director in creating and communicating a shared vision for sustainability revenue growth - focusing on revenue, people and technology growth priorities;
  • Be a key face of sustainability for our clients, providing sustainability insights and identifying revenue opportunities to feed the relevant business lines work with the Sustainable Services Leader and other business lines to determine and deliver new, innovative services and operating models based on market intelligence, the competitive landscape and technology trends;
  • Lead the relationship with a number of business units, helping to upskill JLL employees by providing relevant insights and information to embed sustainability into JLL’s advice and support new revenue-generating opportunities;
  • Support engagement with our internal network of sustainability leads, to facilitate the continued commercialization of sustainability across our services and business;

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with demonstrated advancement in sustainable building design and construction; 
  • An understanding of the holistic sustainability landscape and a passion for tackling climate change and the wider sustainability challenges;
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising with, engaging and presenting to a range of stakeholders;
  • Ability to work with autonomy and a commercial mindset;
  • Relevant academic background and certifications;
  • Experience in working under pressure and to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, in written, visual and numeric work;
  • Personable character with an ability to foster good working relationships with colleagues and clients track record in providing sustainability advice, either in-house or as a consultant;
  • Knowledge in LEED/BREEAM/WELL certifications is required, as well as in Energy and carbon emissions in the real estate sector;
  • Experience and positive results in driving forward a growth agenda is desirable.
