PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is primarily responsible for solving business problems using analytical, technical, and business skills.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Completes process, data, and work-flow analysis activities with limited direction and guidance
- Collects and analyzes business requirements using structured methods producing deliverables such as Business Use Cases, Business Architecture Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.
- Testing and quality assurance of business systems developed
- Participates in ‘buy verses build’ decisions
- Performs ‘gap analysis’ in evaluation of application software packages and makes recommendations to management
- Participate with other IS staff, customers, and other stakeholders in project reviews, tests, and pilots
- Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions
- Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IS colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
- Develop business relationships and integrate activities with the IS department to ensure successful implementation and support of project and support efforts
- Project management as assigned (perform at coordinator level)
- Other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fully competent to work at the highest level of all phases of business analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Process, data, and workflow modeling
- Working knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
- Coordinator level Project Management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks
- Experience with the Microsoft stack preferred
- 5+ years’ experience
