Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work for employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
  • Manage operations and finances of business
  • Recruit and train new hires on business practices
  • Drive development of employees
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
  • Develop and manage a team of skilled professionals
  • Develop, implement and monitor the operational plans for our customer portfolio.
  • Work on all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people
  • Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws
  • Responsible for all aspects of the location budget and total oversight of the location.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industry
  • At least 3 years of ramp handling and strong operations experience
  • Well versed in ramp aircraft operations.
  • In-depth communication, management and demonstrated leadership ability
  • Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets
  • Knowledge of computer software such as MS Work/Excel
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good decision making and time management skills
  • Experience in dealing with Local, Sales and Federal government agencies including suppliers
  • Must have the right to live and work in the USA
  • Management and Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
  • Strong communications skills
