Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Required knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Software Engineering or equivalent with 8 to 10 years of Product development experience (Preferably Native Android and Native iOS)
Proficient in Java & Kotlin languages to develop, debug & maintain Android Mobile applications & libraries.
6+ years of strong Core Java development experience.
Should have very good knowledge in Android and iOS application development.
Strong knowledge in Kotlin development.
Working knowledge of MicroEJ or any other custom embedded platform.
Strong unit testing experience with JUnit and Mockito.
Experience in understanding requirements, design and do the implementation as per the provided design
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with configuration management tools and best practices (GIT, SVN, etc.).
Ability to generate concise and timely reports, including project metrics.
Good knowledge of the software development life cycle stages
Good understanding & hands-on experience of object-orientated programming concepts
Good understanding & proven knowledge of SOLID principles
Basic understanding of the software design patterns and data structures.
Good understanding of MVC/MVP/MVVM design concepts and their application in Android development
Proactive in raising the queries and flag issues at the earliest to accomplish assigned tasks
Support QA team in Automation, script generation and execution.
Nice to have
Cross-platform application development experience with KMM.
Good to have experience in embedded UI, device UI, or event-driven application development.
Hands-on experience with Gradle in multi-module projects.
Experience debugging complex state-based workflows, navigation logic, and asynchronous behavior.
Ability to work in a framework-heavy codebase with custom UI/navigation abstractions.
Strong problem-solving and refactoring skills.
