Role: Sr./Staff Product Designer

Base Salary Range: $162,000 USD - $259,000 USD + equity

Who We Are:

We’re the Design team at X. We’re responsible for creating and maintaining visual and user experience aspects of the platform.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for contributing design efforts across the entire product.  You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and highly effective user experiences. Your role will include:

• Designing and prototyping a little bit of everything, across all clients (iOS, Android and Web).

• Leading design projects from end-to-end,ensuring that all designs are aligned with the company's vision and goals, creating a positive user experience in the process.

• Collaborating with other stakeholders to define and execute on plans and priorities.

• Developing and maintaining design systems and standards to ensure consistency across all products.

Who You Are:

You’re an experienced designer with a passion for X and the future of the platform. You have strong visual and interaction design skills and a deep knowledge of best practices. You’ve demonstrated an ability to design and ship products for mobile and desktop experiences, and have a strong portfolio (preferably including projects from at least one consumer tech environment or agency) showcasing this work. The ideal candidate will also have:

• Expert knowledge of design tools including Figma and Adobe’s Creative Suite.

• Ability to execute quickly while maintaining commitment to craft and quality. You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.

• Experience working with, contributing to and building design systems. You’re comfortable designing icons.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You’re confident presenting to leadership, taking feedback, iterating quickly, and working across disciplines.

• No ego. The X engineering, design and product organization is flat and everyone is empowered to contribute.

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices and ability to apply them to your work.

• Strong graphic, illustration and/or motion experience is a plus.
