We are now seeking an Associate Director to join our Global Stability team in Södertälje.
The Global Stability team is responsible for the overall coordination and quality assurance of the global Commercial Stability Programme. This involves developing Stability strategies that meet the product lifecycle requirements, resolving related issues and providing quality oversight to the manufacturing units and Health Authorities.

As a member of the Global Stability Leadership Team, reporting to the Quality Director in Sweden, you will ensure that AstraZeneca’s commercial stability obligations are met end‑to‑end - both within the function and in partnership with QC testing centres and cross‑functional stakeholders.
You will lead and develop a team of around 8 professionals, guiding them to apply regulations correctly and execute product lifecycle strategies with excellence. A core part of your role is to mentor and coach team members to achieve both team and personal goals, while proactively planning and securing the resources needed to meet demand. By creating clarity, building capability, and removing obstacles, you enable high performance and sustainable growth.
You will take ownership of the Global Commercial Stability Programme, set direction and driving execution. You will challenge current ways of working where it adds value, embedding standard methodologies and accelerating efficiency. You will lead the programme end to end—ensuring issues are managed effectively, supporting investigations, and fostering strong collaboration across functions to deliver reliable, compliant outcomes at pace.
