Job Description:
** This is a 12 months contractual role **
This role is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, organized, and motivated professional who can thrive in a busy, fast-paced marketing and communications team. If you are a resourceful, solutions-oriented, approachable individual with demonstrable technical aptitude, you can play a pivotal role within the team and the business we support!
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all incoming marketing and communications requests. The successful candidate will manage the workflow process for all marketing and communications execution, task allocation, reporting, marketing maintenance and execution of internal and B2B emailed newsletters.
Exceptional project, time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, using a variety of project management tools.
Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of various project management and communications tools
Proficient in task allocation, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks based on resource availability and skill set.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with an ability to provide insights that influence future planning.
Ability to work within tight deadlines with competing priorities.
Strong production skills with some writing and editing skills.
Ability to excel in a consultative environment, comfortable working in partnership with multiple internal stakeholders across all departments, at all levels.
Ability to identify and implement solutions that provide continuous improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with understanding of the unique capabilities of each tool.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Knowledgeable about new media communication tools, collaboration tools, web publishing and video production.
As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communication, project management or relevant program.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a financial services environment
Responsibilities
Manage the workflow process, triaging and assigning projects to the in-house team, and escalating resource conflicts to the Manager when necessary.
Project manage the end-to-end execution and updates of marketing materials (print, email,
PowerPoint and web) for various projects. Ensure they are up-to-date with respect to branding, content and overall messaging.
Manage the print, mail, and communication production support for projects, events and sponsorships.
Define processes and implement reporting metrics to track projects, time and costs/budgets across the team.
Manage and keep up to date the annual marketing plan.
Navigate the organization, including senior leadership, to manage the completion of marketing and communications tasks in cooperation with internal and external designers, linguistics teams, external agencies and print companies.
Assist managers for event support/sponsorships when needed.
Support and contribute to the content governance working group.
Attend working group meetings to represent the team on assigned projects.
Support manager and team members in peak season for marketing and communication tactics.
Possibility of light design work.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
