Job Description:
The Assistant Manager, Claims Services will manage the daily operations of the life claims department, ensuring efficient claims processing and high standards of customer service. This role includes supervising the claims team, resolving complex cases, and supporting process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure accurate life claims processing.
Handle complex claims inquiries.
Prepare management reports on claims data and performance.
Implement process enhancements for efficiency.
Mentor and supervise claims team members.
Develop training programs for claims staff.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Work with other departments to resolve issues and improve service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, or related field.
5-7 years in life claims processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Relevant insurance claims management certifications are a plus.
In-depth understanding of life insurance policies and regulatory requirements.
Good analytical skill and attentive to details to handle claims processing and accurate claims data evaluation
Strong team management skill
Strong communication skill and stakeholder management
