Overview:

Design, develop, implement and manage pro-active training programs in support of the Mortgage loan origination process. Manage a team of employees responsible for developing and delivering training and support on M&T loan origination software to Mortgage employees and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of employees responsible for developing and delivering various Mortgage-specific training programs
  • Ensure high quality training curricula and instruction is maintained. 
  • Ensure consistency of delivery of all training and instruction across Mortgage division
  • Plan, develop, and write training modules for training on sales activities.
  • Develop and facilitate upper level technical and operational classes as well as product and management/sales curriculum throughout the division.
  • Present process improvement and system updates to management based on feedback from Solution Center team to improve efficiency and end-user experience of the loan origination system.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
  • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Solution Center team of specialists. The Solutions Center is responsible for responding to queries and issues related to the Mortgage originations systems and for training employees on system changes.  

Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages a team of 3-5 Mortgage Solutions Center Representatives

Education and Experience Required:

A combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 3 years' training or technical support work experience inclusive of at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $71,985.72 - $119,976.20 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
