Job title: Warehouse Manager

Department & Location: Supply Chain & Operations, Shanghai

Report to: Logistics Manager, APAC

Role Summary

The position of Warehouse Manager, would be accountable for the development and management of General Trading Warehouses, and Cross-border Warehouses, which located in China. The role is responsible to drive outstanding performance of the 3PL&TP warehouses; secure logistics service lead time, and monitor 3PL&TPs’ work task to follow CHD compliances. 

This position is required to in charge of all inventory activities related to logistics, such as goods issues & goods receiving accuracy; inventory sync among 3PL & TP; inventory transfer among Warehouses, audit annual stock take; audit destruction if needed, masterdate maintenance; and etc.,,

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Work with internal & external stakeholders to secure service lead time, OTD with accuracy.  During peak season, drive 3PL/TP to achieve outstanding capacity based on alignment.
  • Responsible for systematic & physical inventory accuracy, perform stock take with 3PL/TPs on regular basis, and monitor daily interface issues under IT support.
  • Manages stock reconciliation among SAP/WMS/OMS
  • Manage monthly billing / payment, to secure billing accuracy, in-time payment, and drive continuously improvement on cost saving projects.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, to draft standard of operation for all logistics activities. 
  • Collaborating with internal partners (international supply chain & logistics, Corporate functions, quality, R&D, purchasing, finance, demand planning, GMG, customer service) and external partners (CMs, packaging suppliers, 3PL warehouse) to ensure plans & processes are executed, exceptions are handled and risks are minimized.
  • Working with warehouse to provide needed reports, such as outbound shipments being sent with appropriate paperwork and being compliant with shipping and airfreight regulations.
  • Devising and maintaining a set of KPIs with 3PL/TP warehouse, and conduct regular review meetings.
  • Working with relevant functions to conduct regular audit on 3PL warehouse, to ensure warehouse is comliant with Church & Dwight Value, and Corporate programs are executed as requiredSupport various logistics projects, related to cost saving, efficiency improvement, warehouse automation, SAP enhancement, and Omni-chanel setup.

 Qualifications: 

  • BS/BA Degree Required degree required.
  • Eight years or longer of solid FMCG logistics related or warehouse management work experience.
  • Sound and reliable judgment with versatility and adaptability
  • Self-motivated with the ability to plan ahead and use initiatives.
  • Team player with good communication and collaboration skills internally and externally
  • Can be counted on for extended goals, bottom line oriented by pushing oneself and others.
  • Experience of SAP 4 HANA and WMS is a plus
  • Understand CBEC warehouse model and related clearance process.
  • Fluent both in written & spoken English.
  • Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Ability to travel 15-20% of time.
  • Fluent Spoken & Written English
