What would you do? Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Sourcing & Procurement involves identifying, acquiring, and managing the goods and services an organization needs. This role includes researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing materials. It also involves ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The goal is to support the organizations operations by obtaining the best value and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.
What are we looking for? Handles end-to-end Ariba back-office procurement support activities • • Performs PR approvals and deletion of abandoned PRs • • Resolves exceptions to enable timely PO closure • • Addresses supplier-related PO issues and coordinates with stakeholders for resolution • • Manages user access requests through ServiceNow • • Maintains and updates Ariba user master files • • Updates Relationship Owner details for transferred or terminated employees to ensure data accuracy and compliance • • Prepares and submits monthly accrual reports to the Accounts Payable (AP) team • • Ensures efficient procurement workflows, strong data integrity, and effective issue resolution • Drive SLA/KPI adherence, root cause analysis of delays or errors, and implement corrective actions. • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on procurement metrics and present to leadership. • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement policies. • Facilitate training for new joiners and existing team members. This job description reflects management s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict responsibilities that may be assigned. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. • Competence in creating dashboards, SLA tracking reports, and root cause analysis (RCA). • Understanding of SOX controls, procurement audit requirements, and policy adherence. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Good understanding of Requisition to PO in Procurement processes • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools like Power BI. • Experience related to Call taking skills • Good technical aptitude with an ability to learn quickly. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems • Your day to day interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors • In this role you may have limited exposure with clients and/or Accenture management • You will be given moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments • The decisions you make impact your own work and may impact the work of others • You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
