The Opportunity
This position can be seated in either our Plymouth, MN or St Paul, MN locations, supporting our Structural Heart medical device team. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
Our team is looking for an experienced, high caliber Demand Manager. This role will be responsible for leading the U.S. forecasting and S&OP process in collaboration with the finance, commercial, supply chain, and marketing organizations. The role will be responsible for driving process improvements, product lifecycle planning strategies (product launches, phase outs, etc), commercial strategy modeling, field inventory management, management of systems and metrics to measure our performance in these areas.
What You’ll Work On
- Own and lead the monthly S&OP process inclusive of the US Demand Reviews and Regional S&OP meeting with US Executive Leadership, KPI performance, root cause analysis and solution creation
- Provide leadership and partner with key stake holders to drive consensus around the forecast, commercial plans, and action plans to address challenges.
- Develop demand plan with commercial, marketing and finance teams based on assumptions, business trends, commercial and marketing strategies, and sales pipeline. Develop models that forecast sales, field inventory changes, phase in / out of product generations, and distressed inventory risks.
- Responsible for the daily execution of approved plans, managing abnormal demand, review and reporting of adherence to the forecast and launch plans.
- Use scenario planning to assess risk and drive informed business decisions
- Reconcile and explain differences between S&OP forecasts and LBE forecasts
- Demonstrate effective change leadership and builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.
- Continuously works to optimize processes, tools and systems.
- Summarize complex data and changing assumptions into concise reporting, messaging and recommendations to stakeholders up to senior leadership level
- Must proactive problem solver, comfortable with dealing with unstructured problems, that takes on challenges and can lead a team to resolve the issues identified.
- Travel for position up to 10%.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, supply chain, finance related field or equivalent
- 6+ plus years of progressively more responsible work experience.
- Experience building processes, problem solving and managing change.
- Proven analytical/problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Tableau, PowerBI or other visualization tool utilization experience.
- Commercial, Marketing, and/or business experience
- Medical Device experience preferred

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00
