Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking self-motivated individuals to join its Trade Management team.

Responsibilities

  • This role is heavily integrated within the COO, Banking and Trading/Sales teams assisting with trade capture and lifecycle management
  • Gain exposure across multiple asset classes within the securitized products landscape
  • Operate cross-functionally to ensure all downstream processing stakeholders and beyond receive timely and accurate trade information
  • Provide internal and external clients premier support services
  • Opportunities to lead various initiatives on streamlining operational capabilities and further create process efficiencies
  • Participation in new business strategies with regards to pre and post trade execution, accurate front to back flow and valuations
  • Maintain proper controls such as FOFO/FOBO break reports and trade related issues across all cash products
  • Manage and help resolve trade exceptions, allocations, settlement issues, fails and reconciliation of repurchase agreements
  • Review of daily activity between brokers and custodians
  • Function as the liaison between Banking, Trading, Sales and other groups which include Product Control, Operations and Market Risk
  • Create and maintain analytical reports for Operations Management
  • Deliver accurate and timely EoD valuations including P&L reports to key stakeholders across the company

Qualification and Experience

  • Seeking a detail oriented, organized candidate with 0-2 years’ experience to join the Trade Management team
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in financial services
  • Possess strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working
  • Demonstrated confidence, maturity, and proactive nature
  • Eagerness to learn and take on responsibility
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

Base Salary Range

$85,000 - $100,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
