Overview

Jain Global is seeking a highly motivated and professional Temp to Perm Receptionist to join our New York City office. This role serves as the first point of contact for the firm and plays a critical role in delivering a best-in-class experience to internal and external stakeholders. A high standard of professionalism, discretion, organization, and customer service is essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

This position is initially temporary, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. This is a fully in-office role requiring on-site presence five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming communications and meet and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience

  • Answer the main phone line and route incoming calls appropriately

  • Coordinate conference room usage, including directing guests and managing conference room turnover

  • Support general office management responsibilities, including maintaining shared spaces and organizing and restocking the refrigerator and pantry as needed

  • Liaise with building management and technical support as required

  • Maintain a polished, professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external clients, representing the firm appropriately while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity

  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks, special projects, and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of receptionist experience in a professional office environment, with prior experience in financial services preferred

  • Strong service orientation with a “no task too big or too small” mentality

  • Pleasant, friendly, and positive attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
