Are you an experienced Operator or want to grow your operational experience? If so, this role is for you! You will support and ensure safe, environmentally responsible and reliable operations of our East Tank Farm (ETF) facility located within the Wood Buffalo Region. ETF is the critical link to market for many site in bitumen production and it is a complex operation, employing cooling, blending, shipping and storage facilities.Minimum Requirements:
Two years of field operations experience or working in a tank farm or terminal, refinery or oil and gas facility
A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment and that policies are followed
Perform plant operation duties for smooth and efficient operations and ensure shift changes are well communicated
Report and appropriately flag all pipeline facility sites issues beyond your scope to your leader
Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner
Provide direction and supervision to the maintenance and contract personnel as required
Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs
Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning
Maintain housekeeping at a high level to ensure a safe work environment
Location and other Key Details:
You will work out of our East Tank Farm site in Fort McMurray, Alberta
The shift schedule is a 12-hour rotation of days and nights (six days on / six days off)
