Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with a strong proficiency in Golang programming language, and expertise in cloud infrastructure and cloud native technologies to join our team. As Software Engineer 3, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and services that will enable our organization to grow and improve.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications and services using Golang programming language.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code to ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.
Participate in code reviews and help to maintain high code quality standards.
Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, application bugs, and other technical issues.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Golang and related software development fields.
Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to manage resources in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
Develop and implement cloud networking and compute solutions to support software applications.
Design, deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain APIs using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Golang programming.
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Hands-on experience with test driven development.
Familiarity with modern software development tools, such as Git
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with AWS, Azure, and GC clouds networking & security services.
Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform.
