About the Role
 

Work with cross-functional stakeholders like Sales, legal department, and finance to finalize subscription contracts and to be the point of contact for our customers on matters relating to the contract terms for both new sale and renewals.

Upon the end of each contract term, you are to work with our customers to renew their contract term on time with us.

You are responsible for execution of the contracting and renewal processes within your assigned territory to achieve the timely completion of Renewals.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • You are the point of contact for sales for proposal creations and pricing simulations for new sale.

  • You are the point of contact for your customers in everything related to their contracts with Elsevier and to their renewal of their contract terms.

  • You work with our customers to validate purchase history, usage statistics and identify opportunities to maximize the value of their content subscription.

  • You lead discussions and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams to construct complex contracts for our largest deals. With the objective of ensuring that our contracts are compliant with our policies, and that they also cover the needs of our customers.

  • Establish an in-depth understanding of our business models, contracting terms and our products, and execute processing in CRM when required.

  • Work in close collaboration with sales teams to build plans to achieve our renewal targets.

  • To work on projects aimed at increasing our process efficiency or to enhance our customers’ experience with us.


Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of Sales process support function.

  • Fluent in Korean and Chinese, and Business-level English.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required.

  • A self-starter who anticipates business needs

  • Strong organizational abilities and analytical skills

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office productivity suite, especially Excel.

  • Prior experience in the use of Salesforce.com and Outreach a plus.
