Smith+Nephew is hiring a Platform Product Owner.

The Product Owner plays a key role in Agile and Scrum development frameworks, being responsible for maximizing the value of CRM and other IT platforms. 

Product Owner acts as a liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring the team is focused on delivering the most valuable features. 

Key responsibilities include defining the overall vision/direction, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and customer needs, managing the product backlog, collaborating with various stakeholders across business, users and the development teams, ensuring product quality and prioritizing development efforts based on factors like business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.

What you will be doing?

• Own the product vision and roadmap for e.g. CRM (Salesforce).

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and product requirements.

• Priorities the product backlog to deliver maximum value aligned with strategic goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Service, IT, and external vendors.

• Ensure successful delivery of features through agile ceremonies and continuous feedback loops.

• Monitor product performance and user adoption

• , driving continuous improvement.

• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our platforms competitive.

What will you need to be successful?

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in CRM and other IT platforms.

• Salesforce experience is a must and critical for this role.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, Agile certification is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to balance technical detail with strategic thinking.

• Experience with AI, Marketing cloud automation will be big plus
