Job Description:

Position Summary 

As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining our market position and driving customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, ensuring accurate forecasting, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. This role is essential to sustaining and growing our commercial presence in Japan.

Main responsibilities 

  • Maintain Point of Reference (POR) position and defend market share.
  • Resolve customer issues related to delivery, quality, and product change notifications (PCNs).
  • Collaborate with Business Units to develop and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Engage with customer procurement teams to understand needs and drive satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer forecasts to provide accurate demand and revenue projections.
  • Ensure consistent communication with internal stakeholders to align on customer strategies.

Education & experiences 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or Business is preferred. Master's or doctoral degree will be considered higher potential 

  • 3-5 years’ experience equivalent knowledge in Japan semiconductor process and industry map 

  • 5+ years equivalent knowledge of Business-to-Business sales experience. Having knowledge and practical experience with Miller Heiman’s method would be an added priority 

  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and apply logical problem-solving.

    ・Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both externally and internally.

    ・Proactive approach to customer engagement and issue resolution.

    ・Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and data interpretation.

・Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
