Sr Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Sr Tax Accountant to join our corporate team!

As our Sr Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing tax journal entries, the tax provision, and federal/state income/franchise tax returns as well as other various tax functions as they relate to the corporate income/franchise taxes for Curtiss-Wright Corporation and its subsidiaries. This position is located in Parsippany, NJ reporting to a US Tax Supervisor.

Your Challenge

• Responsible for the preparation of corporate federal and state tax returns, estimates, and extensions.

• Assists with quarterly and year-end tax accounting process.

• Responsible for the preparation of tax provision work papers.

• Responsible for the preparation of various tax journal entries.

• Conducts tax research and planning. Assists in the support of income tax and other tax audits and notices.

• Assists with quarterly and year-end tax accounting. Works on various miscellaneous Tax Department projects.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3-5 years' minimum experience in a Corporate Tax department, with experience in Federal and State compliance

• Experience using CORPTAX strongly required

• Experience with Microsoft Office Products and Tax research software

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
