The Traveling Superintendent role is considered 100% travel, meaning employees in this role must have the ability to work on-site in various locations throughout the entirety of the year

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be essential to furthering our mission by monitoring project progress, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with standards, reviewing schedules and budgets, and adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.

This role will: 

  • Understand the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, and other requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule and ensure adherence to the schedule and budget.
  • Facilitate the company's safety program by conducting inspections and organizing safety meetings.
  • Maintain daily reports on project progress and submit them to the Project Manager.
  • Review and adhere to approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Capture project photos and maintain close-out data.
  • Ensure a neat and orderly jobsite with good housekeeping practices.
  • Manage quality control by verifying equipment and materials.
  • Build relationships with government personnel and other management personnel.
  • Address punch list items promptly and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Utilize software tools effectively.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet pre-employment requirements.
  • Pass background checks for military base access.

This role might be a good fit for you if you have:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial, industrial, or military construction, preferably in a Superintendent role or related position.
  • Proven expertise in project scheduling and a strong understanding of critical path methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective conveyance of information and instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering workmanship of the highest quality.
  • A forklift license, preferred.
  • A certification in first aid CPR, preferred.
  • Completed the 30-hour OSHA training program to ensure a comprehensive understanding of occupational safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with iPad usage and navigation, as it is utilized for various tasks within the role.

Salary Range
$93,300$118,800 USD
