As a Territory Manager for Cardiac Surgery you are you are expected to meet and exceed established sales targets for your assigned territory. This position will cover West Midlands/North West England, and you will need a full clean drivers’ license and the capacity to travel.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage direct sales across the West Midlands and North West England, achieving AOP targets and expanding market share in Heart Valve, Cardiac Ablation, LAA, and Revascularization therapies.
  • Work closely with surgeons and theatre teams in operating environments, providing product expertise, guidance, and hands-on clinical support.
  • Build strong, ethical partnerships with healthcare stakeholders to increase product adoption and strengthen Medtronic’s presence in key accounts.
  • Deliver presentations, in-service training, and wet-lab sessions to educate clinicians and promote Medtronic’s value proposition and product portfolio.
  • Identify sales opportunities, lead multi-stakeholder engagement, and execute structured account plans to grow existing and new business.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on sales performance, forecasting, inventory and market intelligence while escalating product issues and attending required company meetings.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Previous measurable sales experience
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Full, Clean driving licence

Previous cardiovascular sales experience or similar would be a clear advantage, as would experience working within hospitals sales and recent theatre experience.
