This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
integration of spaceflight hardware and equipment
replacement of electrical wire harnesses and instrumentation
Complex mechanical assembly
Support Testing of avionics/ communication systems
Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts, providing feedback for improvements.
Familiarity working with assembly fixture tooling.
Review and follow written work instructions for complex mechanical installations.
Innovate and improve processes to increase efficiency of operations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs.
Training will start on day shift and will potentially last several months.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
ESD process, controls, and certification experience.
Capability to use standard electronics tools, soldering, wire harness manufacturing/repair, electronic test equipment, basic fabrication shop equipment.
5 years’ experience in Aerospace/Aviation Avionics or related fields.
Attention to detail and passion for space.
Basic hand tool experience such as, torque wrenches, screw drivers, and crimpers.
Experience working with operational Hardware.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work a 40-hr. work week (4x10’s) with occasional overtime to support launch schedules.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and chip into a culture of inclusivity.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Must be able to gain U.S. Space force DBIDS access credentials.
Preferred Qualifications:
7 or more years’ experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly, vehicle integration, testing and processing.
A&P license or equivalent experience in integration and test of flight systems and structures
Experience in staking and conformal coating.
Experience with power systems and high voltage systems.
Certification in and/or Knowledge of IPC standards for assembly and inspection.
J-STD soldering certification, 610 PCB Assembly and 7711/7721 Rework.
Experience and capability to work with software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
