Hourly Pay Range:

$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Location: Chicago, IL

• Full time, 32 weekly hours

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm

A brief summary:

The Mental Health Associate provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and assists in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

What you will do:

• Provides direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic milieu.

• Enhances own professional growth and development.

• Reads, discusses and evaluates current research.

• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing/hospital policies and procedures.

• Demonstrates cost containment in the position of patient care.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• Bachelor of Science in Psychology or a related field.

• Internship or previous experience in dealing with psychiatric patients.

• Current CPR certification with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
