The Senior Financial Analyst will support world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis, focusing on revenue. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team works closely with the CFO and other senior executives to plan the business and allocate budget and resources to the company’s strategic initiatives. This role will provide the opportunity to join a team of high performers who play key roles in helping to facilitate the company’s rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage the organization’s monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range planning for subscription revenue with high financial predictability and accuracy.
Analyze and report on revenue results, understanding trends for important SaaS KPIs such as net retention (NRR), annual recurring revenue (ARR), churn rates and more.
Provide support to Investor Relations in quarterly earnings preparation
As part of the revenue team, the Senior Analyst will partner closely across RingCentral’s organization, performing various financial analysis, modeling, designing and preparation of reporting and budgets for the Board of Directions and executive leadership.
Lead process improvement and automation of analysis and presentations by leveraging technical skills in data extraction and manipulation
Partner with the company’s accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Finance Manager
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3-5 years experience, ideally in a high growth Technology or Software/SaaS environment
SaaS revenue experience a plus
Advanced financial modeling skills utilizing MS Excel.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in prose, presentations, and verbally to multiple levels within the organization
Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
Experience with financial systems such as Tableau, Anaplan or NetSuite preferred
