Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business process needs and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational workflows and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless user experiences. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and adapting configurations to evolving business demands, ensuring that the software remains efficient and relevant throughout its lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software solutions with overall business strategies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software configuration techniques.
- Experience in analyzing business processes to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration of applications within enterprise environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
