Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this role you will support the Senior Manager to provide an excellent employee/retiree experience in the operation and delivery of pension and benefits plans for the Caribbean region.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery on key Pension and Benefits plans inclusive of Group Insurance, RESSOP, Employe Uniforms, Pension/Retirement packages etc.
  • Manage and co-ordinate employee uniforms, this includes preparing employee communication along with liaising with key stakeholders to co-ordinate fittings and deliver of employee uniforms (Vendor & People Managers).
  • Manage the payment to vendors, enrollments, terminations and reconciliation of Group Insurance Benefits.
  • Responsible for review and approval of benefits requests i.e. RESSOP and Butterfield Administration.
  • Ensure Supplier Risk Management Assessment for Vendors are completed and up to date with all required Third Party Risk Requirements (SCA, Privacy etc.).
  • Administer HR operations, invoices verification and approval for Pan Caribbean, service recognition, records management, and other operational initiatives to achieve Business Strategy.
  • Responsible for the review and verification of pension estimates and retirement packages.
  • Build on subject matter expertise to provide advice and solutions to key stake holders inclusive of employees/retirees, HR Advice Caribbean or service partners (HR COE), vendors, suppliers and other HR partners.
  • Implement and maintain regular reports to validate and ensure proper service level agreements and audit controls are in place
  • Responsible for end-to-end administrative delivery on annual projects (IAS 19, Mercer & PWC Audit).
  • Participate in building and implementing support models for HR program changes, including review and documentation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Keep up to date on all communications including changes to programs and procedures to accurately respond to employees and retirees as clients.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • BSc. In Management/Human Resource Management or Any other discipline and/or combined experience.
  • Business Knowledge Functional Expertise in Pension and Benefits.
  • Experience in Workday.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
