Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Leadership COE team at Guy Carpenter a Marsh business. This role will be based in Cluj Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Talent Partner, you will work closely with business and people leaders to drive performance, growth, and engagement.

You will be part of an enterprise Talent Partner community, focused on delivering talent advisory and solutions to meet business needs, principally via enterprise-wide solutions created by the Career COE team.

We will count on you to: 

  • Be a trusted Partner to key stakeholders translating business strategies into effective talent and learning plans, in accordance with the Colleague Value Proposition

  • Develop and implement frameworks, tools, and processes to assess and cultivate top and growth talent. Connecting organizational needs to talent and learning solutions, utilizing central frameworks.

  • Partner closely with Business, People Partners, and Leaders, in providing guidance on interventions to accelerate development and identify potential risks, including talent management, succession planning, learning, coaching, mentorship and mobility

  • Facilitate talent and learning initiatives to support talent development efforts according to strategic initiatives

  • Support, and in places, lead senior leader talent review/succession planning calibration sessions to identify succession and skill gaps and advise on appropriate talent solutions.

  • Support the senior leader promotion processes; advise on broader promotion practices across levels in accordance with the talent strategy and workforce planning.

  • Consult on organizational effectiveness-related issues such as team effectiveness, change programs, and growth initiatives

  • Ensure all development programs are aligned and deployed to agreed relevant schedule, budget and learning objectives

  • Serve as an industry expert on learning and development and talent/performance management projects for program managers, HR and business leaders, and industry professionals

  • Advise the Career COE design and delivery teams on client priorities and provide input into the design, communication and implementation of Talent and Learning solutions

  • Collaborate with Inclusion and Social Impact Partners to ensure we sustain our vibrant and inclusive culture, by fostering inclusion, engaging colleagues and impacting our communities.

  • Leverage workforce analytics to assess talent trends, measure program effectiveness, and drive data-informed decisions. Present insights and recommendations to leadership to inform strategic decision-making

  • Oversees continuous research and analysis of current talent and learning techniques and platforms to develop strategies and solutions to complex talent and learning problems and concerns

What you need to have:  

  • 5+ years’ experience leading talent and learning strategy in large, complex organizations, with demonstrated ownership of talent & succession planning and performance development frameworks that translate into measurable capability and leadership outcomes.

  • Proven track record designing and leading workforce and succession planning processes that increase bench strength and internal mobility and reduce critical-role risk

  • Demonstrated leadership of cross functional initiatives with Centers of Excellence (L&D, Rewards, Talent Management) to deliver integrated solutions such as leadership development + performance enablement + career frameworks—that achieve sustained adoption and business impact

  • Hands-on experience with people analytics and engagement measurement tools

  • Proven project and program management skills for Talent & Learning initiatives, including end-to-end program design and planning, timeline and resource management, budget oversight, cross‑functional governance, risk mitigation and escalation, stakeholder alignment, and change management;

  • Demonstrated track record delivering complex, multi‑region programs on time and on budget

  • Deep knowledge of modern learning and development approaches and HR technology ecosystems

  • Demonstrated experience managing GenAI/AI implementation for talent and learning: defining model requirements, governance and ethical AI practices, compliance/privacy controls, bias mitigation, and monitoring model performance

  • Experience embedding as a strategic partner in business operations to anticipate talent needs and workforce trends, influence operational decisions, and align people solutions to business priorities and transformation roadmaps

  • Strong digital and organizational transformation experience, comfortable driving change across large-scale programs and leveraging digital tools to modernize talent and learning practices

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder influence, and governance skills; proven ability to manage complex stakeholder networks provide guidance and direction on talent reviews, calibrations, and decision making in a matrixed, global environment

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic, multi region environment

  • Fluent English and proven cross cultural communication skills
