As a senior IT audit advisor, you perform auditing activities and provide support for IT initiatives in collaboration with the first lines of defence. You support operational control and help create value for Desjardins Group. You lead and influence development projects and innovative, cross-sector initiatives. You help develop and recommend directions and positions for the business sectors and support functions. More specifically, you’ll be required to:
Advise your partners and colleagues to help them position risks, plan and develop action plans and monitor the execution of these plans. These activities tie in with Desjardins Group’s critical cross-sector projects and strategic initiatives
Identify the risks of technological impacts in the integration of solutions, ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines and frameworks, and ensure alignment with industry best practices
Ensure that architecture and implementation allow for the rollout of stable, up-to-date and scalable solutions
Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Desjardins Group’s activities to independently examine governance, control and risk management processes
Present results to the managers responsible for audited activities
Develop an overall understanding of the organization and cross-sector considerations
Play an essential role by helping improve functional, organizational and technological aspects
Seize unique opportunities to address various IT issues without being limited to a single domain

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer engineering or a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate level proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools, or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and clients
General knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT or other)
General knowledge of ITIL and IT4IT frameworks
General knowledge of AI concepts
General knowledge of IT security concepts
Knowledge of the main cloud suppliers (Azure, GCP, AWS)
Knowledge of the three lines of defence (3LOD) model and risk management
