Job Description Summary

Candidates should be innovative, energetic educators with experience teaching adult learners within a Learning Management Systems D2L, Brightspace, Blackboard, Moodle, Instructure Canvas, etc. Ability to teach business subjects to today’s multi-generational learners including Business, Project Management, and Process Improvement.

Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) experience planning course materials; (3) a deep commitment to education and professional development; (4) technology competencies; (5) teaching skills and business strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies for the global economy; and (6) an understanding of instructional technology.

Ability to plan, organize and teach non-credit programs in specific disciplines. Courses must include essential workplace competencies, leading to student success in the workplace.
Ability to prepare and provide course syllabi and instructional materials to students which tie to prescribed learning outcomes that promote professional growth and skill attainment.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business

Minimum Experience/Training:

  • Three-five years’ experience as a business practitioner.
  • Over two years of experience facilitating stand-up training sessions for professionals.
  • Experience teaching within a Learning Management Systems such as D2L, Brightspace, Blackboard, Moodle, Instructure Canvas required
  • Experience teaching diverse adult professionals
  • Experience developing training materials.
  • Available to conduct training during weekdays and business hours a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel and business-related topics.

Minimum Certification/Licenses:

  • Project Management Professional® required
  • Process improvement certifications a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
