Job Description:

As a Food Services Assistant, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincent's Care Services Bronte facility.

St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is a boutique facility located in one of Sydney's beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107-bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.

Things that work for us:

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Flexibility to work morning &/or afternoon shifts across the week

  • Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards

  • An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

  • An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations and National Police Certificate

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
