Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse – Childbirth Educator
• Location: Highland Park, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Part time (.05)
• Hours: Varies depending on childbirth education class
• On call: no
• Required Travel: Evanston Hospital and Highland Park Hospital

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience 

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 5 plus current years Labor and Delivery and postpartum experience
• Unique or Preferred Skills: L&D/post-partum experience; Experience in education
