The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Team Lead to join the Maine Crisis Line (MCL) team. This role is ideal for someone with crisis experience who thrives in a collaborative, remote setting and is committed to supporting both callers and staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct crisis intervention and support via phone, text, and message.
• Support Crisis Call Specialists in real-time, helping determine the least invasive response to ensure safety.
• Monitor program metrics and schedule adherence to maintain service levels.
• Respond to interactions and document calls in the electronic record system.
• Assist with staff training, administrative tasks, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors and contribute to operational effectiveness.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments and external partners.

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• One year or more of crisis-related experience preferred.
• Ability to earn MHRT-CSP certification within 30 days (training provided).
• Strong communication skills and comfort with remote technologies.
• Experience in call center or customer service environments a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule and ability to pass background checks.

Location: Office is located in South Portland, but this position has the ability to work remotely (in Maine). 

Must have the ability to attend an in-person orientation in South Portland.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Specific schedule will be determined by program needs and will discussed in the interview process.
