As the Operations Area Manager on 3rd shift, you will ensure that production is met to satisfy contractual commitments. You will plan and facilitate work of assigned employees, increase the synergies, and employ the knowledge of plant teams.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Support teams as required
  • Maintain a positive working attitude and environment
  • Ensure that policies, procedures, and bargaining unit agreement requirements are satisfied
  • Willingness to accept and delegate authority
  • Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Focus on product quality and process control Perform "make" versus "buy" analysis
  • Interview, appraise and discipline employees. Acknowledge team accomplishments
  • Support material shortages
  • Support machine and equipment repairs
  • Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues. Implement effective corrective actions utilizing structured planning methods
  • Support housekeeping and safety of work areas
  • Understand and support the Continuous Improvement Plan
  • Participate in the resolution of grievances
  • Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/education courses as required
  • Create and maintain budgets, approve expenditures, and manage operations within budgets

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four plus years of related work experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Word, and Excel, Lotus Notes E-mail, and JD Edwards
  • Must complete Team and Continuous Improvement Training after being hired on

Pay Range:

$82,000.00 - $132,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
