Job Description:
Manage Operational performance 40%
- Supports the [end to end S2P, O2C, and R2R] Team Managers in their daily operations.
- Ensure smooth migrations, identify potential process risks, establish mitigation/control plans, and monitor the impact.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor operations performance on agreed-upon SLAs and key metrics. Advice on appropriate action plans where needed via consistent processes.
- Focus on driving quality with a view towards robust performance management, stakeholder feedback, and active metrics management.
- Ensure regulatory requirements and internal control policies and procedures are followed.
- Drive towards the agreed efficiency targets through defined processes.
- Lead through transitions and increase organizational performance – driving and embedding many competing initiatives.
- Provide reports to management on issues, projects, and processing statistics.
- Owns and executes accounting processes within area of expertise i.e., Source to Pay, Order to Cash and Record to Report, markets that are assigned.
People Management 20%
- Directly Manage and Coach Team Managers and their teams depending on scope and complexity.
- Build and lead an engaged, high-performing team and foster an inclusive environment.
- Accountable for performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
- Provide coaching/mentoring and train employees on Leadership Model behaviors and safety.
- Coordinate activities of team members engaged in processes and sub-processes to deliver on the all functions.
- Participate in governance meetings at the country/region level; Closely work with the team and ensure right collaboration with the team members properly to meet the deliverables and motivate & help them to develop the process standards.
- Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
Stakeholder Management 20%
- Build & manage credible robust business relationships with key partners and stakeholders with a focus on process maturity.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders in the organization to drive the Process strategy.
- Work closely with Global Process Management & Operational excellence team to drive Process strategy.
- Monitor and communicate Finance operational results in a timely and effective manner through the monthly performance dashboard.
- Timely follow up on Business escalations and provide active resolutions.
- Performs complex analysis of transactional accounting information to support decision-making.
- Fulfill seamlessly all the tasks and responsibilities of the given operations process based on the requirement of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Drive Process Improvement Strategy 20%
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and operations excellence, like Six Sigma Process approach.
Complexities
- Manage direct or indirectly a team of up to 30 FTE’s.
- Direct reports range from 10 – 20.
- Building and retention of talent.
- Ability to drive standardization across a highly diverse landscape of Process maturity aligned with the Process strategy.
- Create an organization that can drive technology standardization in highly disparate IT landscape.
- Effective collaboration with team HR, IT, Admin, Support team, Compliance, Internal team, operational excellence, automation team, Learning & development.
- As we move towards the process-based structure, this role could be a succession plan for the Tower Lead role.
- The role would position the individual in some key roles within the Accounting and Finance organization globally and other operational/leadership roles.
