We are looking for someone who will:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations
- Create and manage data models, including defining relationships and hierarchies
- Write complex DAX queries to create calculated columns, measures, and custom tables
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboards
- Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) to restrict data access as needed
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI solutions
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes
- Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service – dataflows, paginated reports
- Understanding the concepts of administration, security and governance platform aspects
- Experience with data modeling and database design concepts
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Experience in working with database systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create clear and concise documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice to have:
- Experience with other Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Knowledge of data warehousing and BI architecture
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
- Basic knowledge of GIT and CI/CD processes
