Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer with expertise in Python, Automation, API integration, and service-oriented architectures. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in translating tooling and business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into technical specifications for our offshore development team. Additionally, proficiency in telephony systems and/or databases will be advantageous for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather tooling and business requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, providing clarity, context, and data flows for the offshore development team.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based automation solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Implement and integrate vendor APIs to expand the functionality of our systems and services.
• Architect and maintain service-oriented architectures to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts and API integrations to guarantee quality and reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the team.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in automation, API integration, and related fields.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with a focus on Python development.
• Proven expertise in building automation solutions using Python and related libraries/frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Selenium).
• Extensive experience in integrating and working with vendor APIs.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures and microservices principles.
• Familiarity with telephony systems (e.g., VoIP, PBX) and/or databases (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Compensation: $145,000 - $180,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
