Clario, a leader in endpoint data technology solutions for the clinical research industry, is expanding its operations in Budapest and seeks a talented Senior Contracts Specialist. In this role, you will manage commercial contracting processes, review core agreements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure mutually agreeable contracts are negotiated and executed.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage commercial contracting processes, including resolving complex contracting questions, edits, and negotiations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure contracts meet standards and strategic objectives
Review and redline customer contracts, propose edits, and provide alternative language
Supervise designated Contract staff: mentor, define career paths, and ensure training is executed and documented
Review contract documentation and playbooks for quality and alignment with corporate strategy
Facilitate contract assignments, track contract queue, and approve drafts in assigned categories
Coordinate with internal teams on specifications for drafting agreements
Review core agreements (MSAs, NDAs, WOs, COs) and advise on deviations from standards
Assist or lead negotiations with customers on contractual terms
Manage contract workflow through lifecycle and maintain accurate data in CRM systems
Suggest and lead process improvements and system enhancements for scalability
Support audits, document retention, and participate in client meetings as needed
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contracting
Minimum 5+ years of commercial contracting experience, including complex/non-standard agreements
Pharmaceutical or CRO background is a plus
Strong risk analysis and organizational skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including advanced Excel)
Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills
Ability to inspire and develop staff
Based in or able to work from Budapest (hybrid)
