The Team: 

EDM (Enterprise Data Management) is a data management platform for acquiring, validating, and distributing trade, operational, risk, financial and customer data. It creates a single version of the truth in a consistent, transparent, and fully audited environment. Firms benefit from greater control, ongoing compliance, and transparency of their data. 

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Defining and managing the product strategy and roadmap 

  • Working with customers, field organizations and other PMs across our vertical businesses to capture product requirements and feedback 

  • Creating use cases, requirements, and user stories for product development. 

  • Evangelizing product roadmap with analysts, and field organizations 

  • Nurturing customers and securing them as references 

  • Defining key metrics for measuring product success. 

  • Defining new product feature qualification criteria and help prioritize the product roadmap 

  • Contributing to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, and high quality. 

  • Working with UX processes and the UX team it conceptualize and visualize the features to be delivered 

  • Engaging frequently with the development team 

What We’re Looking For:   

  • 10+ years of software product management or technical product management experience required. 

  • Proven experience of delivering technical product capabilities within a Software as a Service domain. 

  • Experience of defining and delivering product capabilities

  • Working within a trusted and cross-functional teams where recognized strengths are encouraged. 

  • Delivered multiple major software product releases. 

  • Technical background, with experience in software development projects is desirable

  • Exceptional communicator, with strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills 

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority 

  • Passion for analyzing software products, customers, and market dynamics. 

  • High attention to detail  

  • Proven experience in successfully leading project teams with multifaceted, competing priorities and deadlines, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regions 

  • Understanding of system design and development concepts and technologies 

  • Worked in an agile environment with agile tools and platforms (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps) 

  • Be comfortable with UX processes within the requirement definition space 

  • Good understanding of the scrum process and the Product Owner’s responsibilities such as maintaining a Product Backlog and maximizing the value of the work done by the team 

  • Ability to write well-defined User Stories/Use Cases and acceptance criteria 

Additional Preferred Skills:   

  • Product owner certification 

  • Financial industry experience is a plus  

  • Domain knowledge in the areas of master data management, data governance, analytics platforms, AI/ML 

  • SaaS platform requirements delivery 

  • Experience with Agile Scrum software development
