The Role

We’re looking for a talented Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team and lead our company’s highest impact initiatives across product, engineering and design. In this role, you'll own the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional programs that align with our company's most critical goals. You'll leverage best practices in technical project planning, kickoff execution, and milestone tracking, while managing cross-team requirements, timelines, and priorities. With a keen eye for detail, you’ll proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure that product, engineering, and design teams can focus on building outstanding solutions. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for strategic program management with deep technical knowledge, a strong commitment to clarity and alignment, and most importantly a collaborative approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Cross-Team Program Management

    • Lead multiple cross-functional programs, in collaboration with product, engineering, design, that deliver technical solutions

    • Responsible for project planning across teams including kickoffs, project tracking and establishing best practices

    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leads to ensure requirements are ready and manage project scoping and estimation

    • Identify cross team requirements, timelines and risks and enable product and engineering teams to align and minimize bottlenecks

    • Manage priorities and WIP limits to ensure teams and individuals are not over committed 

    • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation

  • End-to-End Technical Planning

    • Partner with engineering leads and system architect to ensure alignment and coordination on solutions, dependencies, and tech designs

    • Lead org wide technical estimation process to inform timeline and feature tradeoff discussions

    • Lead engineering org efforts on velocity measurement and process improvement

  • Timeline management & Reporting 

    • Ensure alignment of projects with  overall company goals and objectives

    • Ensure GTM timelines are communicated clearly and align with workback plans for feature delivery

    • Identify and track risks across the organization and manage mitigation efforts 

    • Manage release timelines and communication across teams

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, and managing complex technology projects with cross-functional or cross-team scope

  • 8+ years of total experience in a product, engineering, or other technical position 

  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Jira experience

Nice To Haves:

  • Monday.com experience

  • Experience with 4DX, OKRs or similar frameworks

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • PMP Certification/training 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Compensation

Compensation is something we don’t want our candidates or employees to worry about. Our goal is to offer competitive salaries that are regularly benchmarked against the market. The core tenants of our compensation philosophy are fairness and transparency.

We have established a standardized leveling framework based on job scope and responsibilities This means that every person at a certain level is paid the same as everyone else, regardless of their background, previous compensation, location, or any other factor.

The compensation for this role is $170,000-$200,000 dependent on level and includes a generous equity package.
