At Bolt Food, we are revolutionising the food delivery industry by providing efficient and reliable delivery services to our customers. As a Senior Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales team by creating impactful sales material, managing the sales performance of our global team, onboarding new hires, managing their probation period, and training and developing sales team leads.

  • <point>Building Esprit de Corps in the Sales Organization: Foster a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork within the sales organisation. Organise team-building activities, encourage open communication, and cultivate a supportive and collaborative work environment to boost morale and build a high performance sales organisation.</point>
  • <point>Recruitment and Hiring of Sales Staff: Collaborate with the recruitment department to lead and streamline the recruitment and hiring process for sales positions. This includes developing job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and selecting individuals who align with the company’s sales objectives and culture.</point>
  • <point>Onboarding of New Hires: Design and conduct comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales team members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles. Provide training on our products, sales techniques, policies, processes, and systems.</point>
  • <point>Training and upskilling of sales people: Training and Upskilling of Sales Personnel: Regularly assess and identify the skill gaps among sales staff. Develop and execute targeted training initiatives to upskill sales personnel in areas such as sales confidence, sales disciplines, product knowledge, sales culture and specific processes and tactics (e.g. prospecting, closing). Ensure continuous learning and development within the sales team.</point>
  • <point>Call coaching: Conduct call coaching sessions to improve the sales team's phone-based customer interactions. Monitor and review recorded sales calls, provide constructive feedback, and offer strategies to enhance call effectiveness, customer engagement, and conversion rates.</point>
  • <point>Creating Effective Sales Scripts: Develop and refine sales scripts for different stages of the sales cycle. Ensure these scripts effectively communicate product value, address common customer queries, and are adaptable to various selling situations.</point>
  • <point>Awards and Recognition Programs: Design and implement awards and recognition programs to incentivise and acknowledge outstanding sales performance. Regularly evaluate these programs to ensure they align with company objectives and effectively motivate the sales team.</point>
  • <point>Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to sales team members, especially those in leadership roles or those struggling to meet targets. This involves setting individual goals, offering personalised feedback, and guiding their professional development.</point>
  • <point>Sales Material Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive and engaging sales materials, including sales pitch decks, presentations, product guides, training manuals, and other resources required for effective sales execution.</point>
  • <point>Training Evaluation and Improvement: Continually assess the effectiveness of sales training programs and implement plan adjustments as needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales training and integrate them into the training curriculum.</point>

<title>About you:</title>

  • <point>Minimum 2 years experience in direct sales as an individual contributor (phone, field, enterprise). This can be complemented with hands-on team lead experience.</point>
  • <point>Minimum 3 years experience in sales training, sales operations or sales enablement roles.</point>
  • <point>Sales Material Preparation: able to demonstrate ability to produce high quality and engaging sales presentations, pitch decks and sales training materials</point>
  • <point>Energetic Approach: You should possess a high level of energy and enthusiasm, crucial for engaging and motivating sales teams. This includes the ability to bring a dynamic and vibrant presence to training sessions, effectively energising team members and fostering an environment of active participation and excitement about sales goals and strategies. </point>
  • <point>Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies. Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.</point>
  • <point>Training and Coaching Skills: Demonstrated experience designing and delivering sales training programs, as well as coaching and mentoring sales professionals at various levels. Familiarity with adult learning principles is beneficial.</point>
  • <point>Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely, adapting your communication style to different audiences.</point>
  • <point>Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data analysis to interpret sales performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales effectiveness.</point>
  • <point>Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changes and navigate ambiguity.</point>
