Full Time Permanent

Salary up to £11.55 per hour, plus, company van & fuel card

We provide the repairs and maintenance service in approx. 4,500 Dover District Council properties, Services provided: Responsive repairs, Voids, Disabled adaptations, External and major work and Kitchens and bathroom refurbishments.

About the Role:

As a General Operative you will be working alongside Dover Distric Council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

A General Operative with our Dover branch. You will be out supporting residents with repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties, working from ‘job’ to ‘job’, on our day-to-day repairs contract. Part of a local team undertaking high standard General repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service, and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

Role Criteria:

  • UK Full Driving licence
  • Knowledge with social housing
  • Previous experience in roofing, Carpentry  and damp and mold.
  • Any previous experience in maintenance.
  • Good  communication skills.
