Position Highlights:

  • Position: Mental Health Clinical Therapist

  • Location: Evanston, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: PRN/ Per Diem

  • Hours: Evening/Weekend

  • Required Travel: May be required between locations


What you will do:

  • Our model of therapy is typically short-term, goal focused therapy.

  • Therapists are expected to participate in division meetings and department meetings and may be assigned other tasks to promote the well-being of the department’s clinical providers.

  • Provide assessment and treatment of out-patients referred to MG - Psychiatry.

  • Treatment modalities include individual, marital, group and family psychotherapy. Diagnostic modalities may include psychological, psycho-educational and vocational assessment.

  • Completes and adheres to all credentialing/privileging requirement and guidelines, peer reviews, quality assurance guidelines and all practice directives as directed by the Chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Head, Division of Psychology, Medical Group

What you will need:

  • Education: Master's Degree Required

  • Certification: Current State of Illinois licensure with a minimum of four letters which may include LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMFT (Licensed Marital & Family Therapist)

  • Experience: Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in the field of social work

  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)/ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), group therapy, solution focused therapy
