Job Description:
The Network Engineer will be part of multiple projects to standardize the company's remote and core sites. We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This role will be part of a network infrastructure team responsible for the design and development of scalable, highly-available network architectures. Our ideal candidate will be organized, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a team oriented environment.
Communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The candidate must have in-depth, hands-on technical skills ranging from: firewalls, routers and switches, virtualization and cloud technologies, security frameworks with extensive experience configuring and managing software and hardware related to LANs and WANs. The candidate must be able to travel in the US and some Canadian sites. This position would require some travel.

Education/Equivalent: BS/BA degree or comparable experience
Certifications:
- CCNA at a minimum, CCNP preferred
- Fortinet NSE 4 preferred
- ITIL Foundation certified
Work Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IT network infrastructure in a large scale enterprise with hands-on networking experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with network administration
- Must be able to understand internal/external customer perspectives when executing project and operational responsibilities
- Experience with supporting remote office environments
- Experience with leading infrastructure projects (Cloud, network, storage, etc.)
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in each of the following technologies or service areas:
- Network routing and switching, Cisco ASA, FTD, FMC, IPS/IDS, wireless controller configurations and AP deployment best practices
- Working experience with DMVPN with zone based firewall deployments
- Working knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet technologies
- A good understanding of SD-WAN architectures with deployment experience a plus
- Expert knowledge of IPv4 TCP/IP subnetting and understanding of IPv6
- Rich experience designing and understanding Cisco network device configuration with working knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper, SonicWall, Palo Alto considered a plus
- Deep understanding of dynamic routing protocols particularly OSPF, EIGRP & BGP with working experience with route redistribution and performance routing
- Cloud computing (AWS, GCP & OCI) experience a plus
- Network Management Tools such as Solarwinds Suite and Nagios a plus
- Control Network (SCADA) experience a plus

Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:
- Lead infrastructure related projects. Design, coordinate and implement high quality customized solutions to support the business requirements
- Manage multi-datacenter distributed components of our infrastructure including firewalls, core switches and SD-WAN
- Must be able to troubleshoot and configure Industrial Control Networks
- Network (LAN and SDWAN), remote access, routers, wireless, firewalls, IDS/IPS and load balancer support
- Contribute to Problem Management as appropriate
- Assist with the creation of operational metrics and KPIs
- Support continuous service improvement initiatives by identifying and executing opportunities to enhance processes and services
- Support and contribute to enhancing Knowledge Management
- Conduct operational support in a manner that is ITIL process driven and documented including relevant Change Management practices
- Maintain productive working relationships with peer IT teams, business teams, department leads and end users across the enterprise
- Collaborate with the Security and Risk Team to fulfill audit requests to maintain compliance; help drive risk mitigation efforts to address findings
- Follow the directives of the Network Manager, IT Director, and PMs for all tasks assigned
