Job Description

What You’ll Do 

  • Quality Assurance: Use code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to guarantee the dependability and quality of software products. Maintaining codebase integrity and scalability requires writing clear, well-documented code and abiding by coding standards and best practices. 

  • Optimising Performance: To enhance overall performance and user experience, locate and fix scalability problems and performance bottlenecks in the application architecture. Optimise code and system resources. To increase productivity and reduce latency, carry out performance profiling and tuning tasks. 

  • Agile Methodology: Engage in agile software development practices, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Work together to prioritise features and deliver them iteratively while maintaining alignment with the product roadmap and business goals with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders. 

  • Product Development: Take the lead in creating, developing, and implementing new functionalities and features for the customer experience management platform offered by Sprinklr. Utilising industry standards and best practices, translate technical specifications and business needs into scalable and maintainable software solutions. 
    Technical Leadership: Lead the product engineering team as a technical leader and subject matter expert, mentoring and coaching younger engineers. Encourage technical innovation and excellence by holding knowledge-sharing sessions, code reviews, and architectural dialogues. 

  • Whole-Stack Creation: Build dependable and responsive online apps utilising the complete stack and contemporary front-end frameworks (like React, Angular) and back-end technologies (like Node.js, Java, Python). Work together with UX/UI designers to develop user interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing and intuitive, thereby improving the customer experience. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Keep up with new developments in web development and software engineering, including tools and technologies. proactively find ways to optimise and optimise processes, inspiring creativity and productivity across the product engineering group. 

 

What Makes You Qualified  

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline. 

  • 5-8 years of software development experience, specialising in the creation of scalable web services and applications. 

  • Strong command of recent JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). 

  • Practical knowledge of back-end technologies, such as Python, Java, Node.js, or comparable frameworks. 

  • Strong grasp of design patterns, best practices, and software engineering principles. 

  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred. 
    exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulousness, and a drive to provide software solutions of the highest calibre. 

  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to function well in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.
