Position Summary

The Solution Strategist, Conversational AI is responsible for shaping and advancing the strategy, design, and technical delivery of AI-powered voice and conversational capabilities within the Care Management organization. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, clinical operations, and emerging technology — translating complex business needs into structured, actionable technical roadmaps and driving use cases from concept through pilot and scale.

The ideal candidate brings a product mindset, a bias toward outcome-driven delivery, and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and clinical partners. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on how care managers engage members and providers. 



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, solution strategy, digital health, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience translating business and clinical requirements into product or technology solutions
  • Familiarity with conversational AI, voice automation, or related technologies including vendor evaluation and implementation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across clinical, operational, and technology teams
  • Ability to define and track success metrics, interpret pilot results, and build data-informed business cases
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in large, matrixed organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior and executive audiences


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managed care, care management, or health plan operations
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and/or Commercial care management workflows and populations
  • Prior experience with AI or automation pilots in regulated or clinical environments
  • Knowledge of vendor contracting, SOW development, or enterprise procurement processes


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health informatics, computer science, public health, or a related field required
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$142,140.00 - $284,280.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
