JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB SUMMARY

This position is the head of operation and administration team. To ensure the operation team is running efficiently and cost effectively while adding value to the organization and providing outstanding service to customers. To provide the full spectrum of administration functions and support to other business teams/managers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and provide monthly reports to forecast the reagent and instrument sales, office suppliers, inventory reserve, backorder amount to the business leaders and teams.

• Oversee and monitor inbound goods movement (e.g. the shipment, security and storage of goods, inventory management, claims, order filling, stock replenishment) and general administration to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Place purchase orders with suppliers regularly and follow up overseas affiliates to ensure timely supply.

• Update inventory management based on latest sales forecast to ensure it reflects the company’s reality.

• Recruit, supervise, coach and motivate operation and warehouse team members.

• Oversee and administer full spectrum of administration functions including general affairs, office supplies, machines and other employee parties and gatherings.

• Recommend cost effective and efficient solutions for office facilities/supplies/inventory etc., track and control expenditure payouts.

• Negotiate with local vendors for renewing contracts related to logistics and administration.  

EDUCATION

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Logistics/Supply Management or related discipline;

EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATION

• 8+ years of working experience in warehouse management, logistics management or related field with 3+ years supervisory experience

• Independent, responsible and able to work under pressure

• Good command of English and communication skills

• Good planning and organizing skills
