Sandvik Coromant is looking for a Sales Cluster Manager –Eastern U.S. who is ready to ensure successful realization of our business strategy and vision for today and the future. In this role, you will report directly to the Sales Area Manager, Americas.
The location for this position is flexible within the Sales Cluster area.

Key performance areas
As the Cluster Manager – Eastern U.S., you will contribute to the realization of the business strategy for Sales Area Americas and Sandvik Coromant globally through collaboration with our Sales Area Americas Management Team, while providing the leadership needed to execute on business plans and delivering planned results within Sandvik Coromant-Central U.S.
In this role you will develop, lead and drive strategic change initiatives and be relied upon to effectively
communicate change and support the transition of our workforce to newer ways of working in support of our stated vision and business strategy. Further, you will keep focus towards business mindedness and the development of our employees.
You will ensure strong financial discipline within the cluster, to balance investments in our people and business tools to develop our business while simultaneously managing Administrative and Sales (A&S) expenses. You will actively develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, keeping abreast of our customer needs and ensuring that our end-user, customer relations are effectively managed. You will possess strong performance management capabilities, be passionate about developing our team members and effectively leverage your team’s diverse strengths and cultivate an enthusiastic and highly engaged culture for our team members to be successful within.
Regular travel both throughout the cluster, the sales area, as well as internationally is required.
Our ideal candidate will have all, or a combination of the following skills;
BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business and/or equivalent, as well as five to ten years’ experience in sales and marketing management with knowledge of the machining industry.
Knowledge of engineering, products and application is preferred.
Strong, demonstrated capabilities for change management and change leadership.
Senior managerial capability and excellent people management skills.
Strong networking skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
Proven knowledge and experience in customer relationships.
Interest and passion for working in both a regional and a global context.
Must be fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
Possess the ability and passion to create trust and communicate effectively with colleagues and outside partners at all levels of the organizations.
Must be an excellent networker, with a good understanding of stakeholder needs, and constantly strive to exceed customer expectations and act on business priorities.
Able to promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, think and act strategically and are structured and efficient in your way of working.
